The chain will halt at block 483 000, expected ≈ 2025-05-05 16:00 UTC. Validators must stop their nodes at the halt height and restart with the v1.0.12 binary to resume consensus.

This proposal requests 2,150,000 ARKEO from the community pool to fund the Business Development & Partnerships Workstream (BDP) for the Arkeo network over a 6-month period. This proposal establishes a Business Development & Partnerships (BDP) Workstream, led by the BDP Workstream Leader, with a dedicated budget to foster ecosystem growth and external partnerships for Arkeo. This budget will be managed at the sole discretion of the workstream leader and be used to fund all initiatives and compensate personnel that fulfill them.

The Arkeo Core Engineering Team is asking for community support in the amount of $75,000, equivalent to 616,800 ARKEO tokens based on the current price ($0.1216 per ARKEO). Over the next three months (6/15/25-9/15/25), we’ll strengthen the blockchain’s infrastructure, improve provider and developer tools, and actively engage with the community. This funding will directly support efforts to increase network activity, token usage, and liquidity, benefiting everyone in the Arkeo ecosystem.

This upgrade, as outlined in the engineering discussion, contains major improvements including enhanced provider onboarding, expanded subscriber capabilities, refined indexing, and expanded Arkeo services. This release is a critical step forward in making provider and subscriber onboarding more reliable and in expanding dashboard visibility for the entire network. All validators must upgrade to v1.0.14 at the scheduled halt height to continue consensus. (Cosmovisor is strongly recommended for smooth upgrades.)
